Blog post #2 What microsoft word means to me I had to use word for a variety of reasons - writing lengthy papers on books I hardly read, submit assignments through canvas, or answer question prompts provide by my professors. Once you get the hang of it, it's a great tool to use in the midst of education. There's always been a reason to use it. It's convenient, it's free (for students, at l east, but I'm pretty sure it's so easily accessible, anyone can use it). As for my teachers, they use it to type out the syllabus for each semester, create templates for students, and it's more often than not a preferred method for submitting assignments. That whole issue with copyright Ah, yes. We've all had are interactions with that term. Copyright. It's like plagiarism, but worse. Blog post #1 Why use technology in the classroom for grades K-12? There's a multitude of reasons. And to those who argue that technology is taking the roles and job

About me

About me! Background info- I'm honestly figuring this life thing out. To keep it brief, I'm the oldest child (you know how that goes), my siblings all vary in ages and personalities, with the smallest one being eighteen years younger than me. Jesus is the king of my heart and the reason that I breathe. Oh! And another thing, I've always had a passion for writing. I grew up humbly, and faced many hardships. But none of that defines me now. Being optimistic is one of my key characteristics and I can turn any situation into something positive. Prior experiences- In education, the only technology I've had to use is what's been provided to me. Desktops at the computer lab, calculators with buttons that didn't work, or surviving the nightmare that is group projects (it's terrible when nobody wants to do their part - one time I had to write a research paper, designing the study, the “participants,” the variables with one other person because the rest
